Messe Frankfurt and the apex body of the India’s automotive aftermarket, Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) will come together again to organise India’s leading trade fair for the Automotive Industry – ACMA Automechanika New Delhi. The show will offer a professional platform paired with premium networking opportunities in Halls 8 – 12A at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from 26 February – 1 March 2015. Part of Messe Frankfurt’s Automechanika Brand, which is held in 13 locations across 4 continents, ACMA Automechanika New Delhi’s second edition will continue to attract trade visitors from the Asian automotive industry, keen to source superior automotive components and products.

 

Currently estimated at 39.7 USD Billion, the turnover from India’s auto component industry has seen a slight slowdown compared to previous years. However, looking at a much brighter future, ACMA has estimated the turnover to reach USD 66 Billion by 2015-16, moving at a CAGR of 16%. In addition to this, the cumulative foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows into the Indian automobile industry were recorded at USD 9.07 billion by the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), Government of India. Against this backdrop, ACMA Automechanika New Delhi will act as the perfect platform for bringing together the automotive industry under one roof.

The first edition of the show saw 8,096 visitors, including trade professionals, distributors and end-users from 58 countries and regions, as well as 256 exhibiting companies. Of the participating brands, 67% stated that they would definitely participate in the next edition, while 22% ranked ACMA Automechanika New Delhi as the number one trade fair for the country’s Automotive Industry.

 

Commenting on the second edition of the fair, Mr Raj Manek, Managing Director, Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt.
