CELEBRATED THE INAUGURATION OF THE BIG FAT INDIAN WEDDING EXHIBITION BY ACTRESS PERNIA QURESHI AND MEERA ALI
NEW DELHI 17th July 2015: Indian weddings are of many shades and Wedding Asia is the place that unites all of them under its arcade. Showcasing the best of the best in the multi-million wedding industry, Wedding Asia was the confluence of myriad facets of Indian weddings, held at the Ashok Hotel New Delhi.
This year, the 9th edition of Wedding Asia by Mr.Maninder Sethi and Mrs. Anupreet Sethi also celebrated the flavor of Awadhi weddings and paid an ode to the master courtier and film maker Muzaffar Ali. The exhibition was formally inaugurated by Meera Ali and actor Pernia Qureshi, on day one.The Awadhi wedding are a very pronounced style of weddings in India and film maker and designer Muzaffar Ali , has successfully created many cameos from Umroajaan times that have influenced many to be brides and weddings since time immemorial. Wedding Asia paid an ode to this master and trailed his costume lineage through a fashion float that showcased costumes from Muzaffar Ali’s upcoming movie Jaanisaar.
On the anvil there were upcoming bridal couture designers, jewellers, wedding planners, trousseau packers, specialized photographers, customized shoe designers, make-up artists and invitation designers etc under one roof. Wedding Asia, with its success over the years, has been recognized as Asia’s premium wedding exhibition and has become an exclusive platform to showcase and promote the best of bridal collections and accessories.
Speaking about the event Ms. Anupreet Sethi Founder Wedding Asia said, “It is indeed a privilege and sheer honour to give platform to such immensely talented designers and artists. We are privileged to be able to celebrate the flavor of Awadh with fashion and film icon Mr. Muzaffar Ali , under the roof of Wedding Asia. The exhibit presented exquisite collection by some of the participating designers such as Amit Talwar, Azalea by Aditi Gupta,Kaaisha Studio by Shalini,Pankaj S Couture, Lustre by Poonam & Meenu,Chitwan Malhotra, Diamond Constellations by Sachin Kharkia, Manohar Lal Saraf & Sons Jewellers,Shreem Jewellers, Vikas Chain & Jewellery Co Pvt Ltd , to name a few.
