(Munich / Düsseldorf, October 16, 2013) KraussMaffei Berstorff will launch its new ‘Service & Solutions’ service program at the K 2013. As a result of this program, service experts from the world’s leading system partner for extrusion solutions will provide their customers with flanking technical support throughout the entire service life of their machines. That way, customers not only preserve the value of their machines, but also ensure they deliver optimum performance.

Comprehensive services in four phases
Rainer Kerner, Head of Service in Munich, says: “With our new ‘Service & Solutions’ program, we have restructured the range of services offered by KraussMaffei Berstorff and also optimized its content with current customer requirements in mind.” Carsten Fritz, his colleague who is responsible for Service in Hanover, adds: “To advise and support our customers professionally and in the best possible way throughout the entire service life cycle of their machines, we have divided our service offering into four phases: startup, utilization, optimization, and phase-out. 1. Startup – for a perfect start, the basis for successful utilization 2. Utilization – to ensure maximum availability of the machine during production 3. Optimization – because high-performance systems are the key to higher production efficiency 4. To best satisfy current customer requirements, the service experts at KraussMaffei Berstorff have assembled attractive service packages for customers who use KraussMaffei pipe, profile, sheet and PVC granulating extrusion machines. Conversely, customers with compounding, film extrusion, foam and rubber extrusion machines as well as single-screw extruders for applications in polymerization can have their service packages individually tailored to suit their needs. With ‘Service & Solutions’, we preserve the value of the customer’s investment and ensure their product delivers maximum performance throughout its entire service life cycle.
