3 August 2015 – A range of creatively designed and finely crafted jewellery, watches and much more will be showcased at “In Style • Hong Kong”, a large-scale Hong Kong promotion to be held in Jakarta, Indonesia from 14 to 20 September.
Riding on successful Hong Kong product expos mounted by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) in Jakarta during the last three years, the September promotion is expanded to cover a branded product expo for trade buyers, a retail and gourmet promotion across Jakarta for consumers, and a symposium and gala dinner for Indonesian businesses.
Ideal Sourcing Platform
The “In Style．Hong Kong” Expo, to be held at the Jakarta Convention Center from 17 to 19 September, will be the ideal platform for trade buyers to source lifestyle and trendy products from Hong Kong to meet the growing demand for high-quality, creatively designed and well-made products by Asia’s growing middle-class. Some 10,000 trade buyers, importers, distributors, retailers, brand agents, franchisees and department stores are expected to visit the Expo.
About 100 Hong Kong lifestyle brands will be featured in four theme zones, including fashion, gifts & houseware, electronics and jewellery & watches.
Hong Kong is renowned for these products, being, for example, the world’s number-one exporter of fashion jewellery and the world’s second-largest exporter of watches, according to the latest international rankings (for 2013). Last year, Hong Kong exported US$7.1 billion worth of watches, US$7.9 billion worth of fine jewellery and US$1.1 billion worth of fashion jewellery.
