The collection takes inspiration from lagoons, populated with expanse of chalky white corals, like buildings in the busy city of Manhattan. The rush of fish off their daily chores likes sparks of color that light up the landscape. An occasional colony of big bright anemones flowering like gardens below the sea.The frothy water idyllically rushing to engulf the sand and leaving footprints of their union. The serious steely blue sky with tonal clouds broken by hues of pink….signaling the arrival of a new possibility.
Everything is peaceful soft and gentle and beckoning to a new start. This is the inspiration behind Geisha Design’s spring summer 2014 collection. Colors are soft aqua, Sand, Chalky corals, morning blush with dashes of neon. Textures resemble Coral like lacy patterns, Spray of neon’s, play of transparencies and opacities and shadows.
