This day marks the sacrifices made by all those who laid down their lives for peace and freedom in two World Wars and other subsequent conflicts. The ceremony was attended by senior dignitaries representing the Government of West Bengal, Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, Ex-Services Leagues, Kolkata Police, and Deputy High Commissions and Consulates.
