Mitigating risk in workplaces
Construction-related accidents are the leading causes of workplace accidents in Thailand, according to the National Statistics Office of Thailand. By building a strong prevention culture, causes leading to work-related accidents can be avoided and reduced, leading to a safer workplace environment. INTERMAT ASEAN 2018 and CONCRETE ASIA 2018 will conduct several safety seminars in partnership with the Safety and Health at Work Promotion Association (Thailand) (“SHAWPAT”) and International Powered Access Federation (“IPAF”).
Shift of the outdoor area
The outdoor exhibit and working demonstration area, provides visitors an excellent opportunity to see and test the latest machinery and equipment. A move from IMPACT Lakeside to the Outdoor Area P5 situated right across the exhibition area, is expected to increase the volume of visitors in this area.
