Drawing upon all its unparalleled technical skill and expertise in working with ‘disruptive ‘materials, Roger Dubuis now leverages its recent motorsports experience by transforming a polymer into a rubber-lined molten material sprinkled with light-reflecting “spangled dust”. This then hardens, creating a wholly 21st century material that closely resembles a stunningly elegant fabric – but isn’t.
