20^th July 2018, New Delhi: Spark Minda, Ashok Minda Group, continuing their social welfare programs has now facilitated a camp for 500 PWDs in Vietnam along with Bhagwan Mahavir Viklang Sahitya Samiti (BMVSS) and Embassy of India in Vietnam. In continuation to its legacy of social welfare drives, the artificial limb fitment camp is aimed to heal and treat more than 500 Persons with Disability in Vietnam, with certain limb disabilities during the 5 weeks span.

Her Excellency Nguyen Thi Hien, the first lady of Vietnam inaugurated the camp with His Excellency P Harish, Ambassador of India in Vietnam, officials of Spark Minda, Ashok Minda Group along with technical and implementing partner of the camp Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahatya Samiti (BMVSS) which has provided the equipment and personnel to facilitate this camp in an effective and organised manner.

The formal inauguration of Artificial Limb Fitment Camp, Vietnam in Vinh Phuc saw the involvement of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dolisa, Dept of Health, Dept of Planning and Investment and other officials of Vinh Phuc Province in Vietnam. The Artificial Limb Fitment Camp has been organised by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India and Embassy of India in Vietnam as part of the bilateral Development Partnership initiatives in Vietnam. BMVSS has aided Spark Minda foundation to facilitate the camp in two provinces – Vinh Phuc and Phu tho in Vietnam.

16^th December 2017, New Delhi/Noida: Spark Minda, Ashok Minda Group, continuing their societal welfare campaigns has setup an artificial limb fitment camp at its Noida (UP) facility. In continuation to its legacy of social welfare drives, the artificial limb fitment camp is aimed to heal and treat more than 1000 patients with certain disabilities during the 12 days of operation.

The camp has been set up at the Noida facility of its flagship company, Minda Corporation Limited (NSE: MINDACORP, BSE: 538962), Sector 59- Noida. It has been organized in association with Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklaang Sahatya Samiti (Jaipur Foot) from 13^th December to 24^th December, 2017. The camp is providing end-to-end support in Limb fitment, Caliper fitment, providing Walkers, Elbow Crutches, Tricycles, Wheel chairs etc, all in same day and as per requirement of the patient. Spark Minda has been prominently holding such initiatives nationally and internationally from Noida to Indonesia in which amputees were benefitted with 1683 fitments during last couple of years.

The activity is part of ‘Saksham’ – a CSR program started by Spark Minda, Ashok Minda Group to help Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). Under Saksham, the Group aims to provide accessible and assistive technologies, impart skill training through OJT (On the job training), create inclusive workplace and ergonomics, train them for 5s and life skills, employ PWD’s (Persons with Disability). The whole idea of initiating and implementing campaign is sustain the lives of PWD’s (Persons with Disability).

Queretaro, Mexico, 03^rd April 2017: Global Automotive Component manufacturer ‘Spark Minda, Ashok Minda Group’ today announced the inauguration of its new manufacturing plant located at Queretaro Industrial Park, Mexico. The new facility Minda KTSN Plastic Solutions Mexico, S. de R.L. de C.V. is a part of Minda KTSN Plastic Solutions, Germany (“Minda KTSN”) which was established in 2007 to oversee the European operations.

The green-field plant at Mexico specializes in manufacturing of Interior automotive components such as Glove Box, I Panel Parts etc for our esteemed Customer Volkswagen Group.

The new facility at Queretaro which is Minda KTSN’s 5th unit has a total area of 8500 Sq.mtrs with manpower strength of around 130 employees. The plant has an additional 5000 sq meters space in the similar premises for further growth and is targeting annual sales of 450 Mio Pesos (USD 24 Mio) from 2017-18 onwards.

Minda Corporation has acquired 100% Equity of Panalfa Autoelektrik Limited

New Delhi, 05^th April 2016: Global Automotive Component manufacturer ‘Spark Minda, Ashok Minda Group’ today announced the acquisition of Panalfa Autoelektrik Limited through its flagship company, Minda Corporation Limited.  The Group has acquired 100% Equity of Panalfa Autoelektrik Limited.

Panalfa Autoelektrik Limited, founded in 2007 and located in Bawal, Haryana. The Company primarily manufactures ‘Reduction Gear Starter Motors’ and ‘Alternators’.

Panalfa Autoelektrik is dealing with end markets of Agriculture Machinery, Stationary Engine, Construction Equipment and Automotive market worldwide and has some of the key companies in India as customers such as Eicher, Escorts, Greaves, HMT, Magneton, New Holland, Polaris, Sonalika and TAFE. Panalfa Autoelektrik Limited has working strength of 410 employees and had Sales of Rs. 72 crores (FY 14-15).

With the acquisition of Panalfa Autoelektrik the Group further strengthens its presence in product portfolio & footprints in Agriculture Machinery, Stationary Engine, Construction Equipment and Automotive market. The Group will leverage on this acquisition to offer a better value proposition to its customers in commercial vehicles and other segments.
