Each De Bethune watch places innovation at the centre of the creative process, all the while perpetuating the spirit of the Enlightenment’s great master watchmakers. The new DB28 GS upholds this same philosophy, with four patented inventions inside its calibre. The self-regulating twin barrel delivers six days of power reserve. The balance spring terminal curve, and the annular balance in silicon and white gold, with its lighter weight and maximum inertia, are breakthroughs in watchmaking technology that guarantee the movement’s performance and precision. A triple pare-chute shock-absorber system protects the movement by a titanium bridge mounted on springs. The DB28 GS also stands out for its remarkable wearer comfort, a combination of lightweight titanium, the crown at 12 o’clock, and the patented floating lugs which adapt to suit the thickness and movements of the wrist.

Eterna
Royal KonTiki GMT
A legendary watch and longtime star of the Eterna collections, the KonTiki returns with a brand-new heart. And what a heart! The first of 88 possible variations of the new Calibre 39 by Eterna – a Manufacture movement based on an ultra-rational construction and capable of generating interpretations ranging from a two-hand manually-wound version through to an automatic chronograph. And all that in chronometer-precision quality! Three screws are enough to secure any and all of the modules or sub-assemblies, themselves composed of a limited number of parts. The first variation of this refined mechanism features a dual-time display elegantly staged on a dial by means of a red pointer sweeping around a light-and-dark-shaded ring corresponding to nighttime and daytime hours. The robust and sporty new case of the Royal KonTiki borrows its sandblasted curved grooves from the 1970s models, while proudly sporting a curvaceous case that is unmistakably its own.

Mercury
Sky Master ME285
Already renowned for its sport watches, last year Mercury launched a new line of agelessly elegant timepieces. After a highly successful debut, the collection is joined by the ME 285. Proposed in versions for men and for women, with and without diamonds, it displays time with particular refinement thanks to the attention lavished on every detail. The dial, with its delicate guilloché pattern, welcomes generous Roman numerals and a railroad chapter ring for a classic feel. The large date at 6 o’clock together with retrograde days at 12 o’clock give rhythm to the whole. Implicit to this watch is its perfect functionality for everyday wear. The case with its curved lugs is sculpted from steel and proposed in different renditions that will each stand the test of time, thanks to the robustness of the case design.

Genie
Grandor
Grandor by Genie brings a new expression of time that will never go out of style. Inside the smooth contours of a two-tone case beats an automatic movement displaying time’s most fundamental elements for essential daily use: three hands and a date. The brand’s bell logo forms an elegant raised pattern across the gold-coloured dial. The hours are marked by delicate diamonds, together with Roman numerals for a touch of classicism. Extending refinement to the smallest details, Grandor reveals the beauty of its mechanical calibre through a sapphire crystal case back. A steel bracelet in two colours brings the perfect final touch.
