ketto_logoKetto and Not for Profit organisation Olympic Gold Quest have successfully raised close to 15 lacs to help Indian Athletes for the Commonwealth games, Asian games and World Cups! Mr. Amitabh Bachchan has generously contributed for this campaign and has supported the dreams of our Indian Athletes!

Ketto recently teamed up with Not for Profit organisation Olympic Gold Quest  to raise funds for 4 athletes – Vikas Gowda, Pooja Ghatkar, KT Irfan and Ayonika Paul. OGQ is supporting the training and preparation of these athletes for the 2014 World Championships, Commonwealth Games, in Glasgow and the Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea.

Ketto and Not for Profit organisation Olympic Gold Quest aims to raise a total amount of INR 20 lakhs  for the athletes through the online crowdfunding campaign.

The campaign has successfully now raised  close to 15 lacs in total for the campaign from  the goal of 20 lacs from over 500 + donors from 10 countries and already over-shot fundraising target for 2 of the 4 athletes.

The goal of the initiative is to help raise funds which would provide the athletes with the right  nutrition, training and equipment.

Adding further to this, Co-Founder and CEO Varun Sheth says, “Ketto’s association with Olympic Gold Quest goes back to last year when Ketto opened its platform to fundraise for athletes in India. We have helped OGQ raise over 25 lacs for multiple athletes across different sports and international competitions

We are extremely thank full to Mr Bachchan and other 500+ donors who have come out in support for not only Pooja Ghatkar and Ayonika Paul but also K.T Irfan and Vikas Gowda. The ogq.ketto.org campaign ends next week.”

CEO of Olympic Gold Quest Viren Rasquinha:
“We thank Mr. Bachchan and all our other funders for contributing to this current crowd funding campaign that we have launched together with Ketto. We still need more funds to give our athletes the best possible support as they prepare for the Asian Games and Commonwealth Games in 2014. I want more people like Mr. Bachchan who are proud and passionate about India to come forward and make a difference.”
