 About Odias@Kolkata (OAK) :

OAK was envisaged primarily with the aim to get an active community life , where people from Odisha settled or living in Kolkata  come together to participate and contribute in a vibrant manner. The OAK community membership has swelled from 30 families to over 300 families in a space of just 20 months as a hallmark of the sense of unity and camaraderie amongst the fraternity. The OAK has successfully celebrated many such similar events so far.

Charitable Activities at OAK :

Even though this group was born to provide a platform for entertainment and interaction, the members have selflessly extended support hands to Cheshire Home- a home for spastic girls and women at Tollygunge and also to Bodhi Peeth, which houses 90 mentally retarded persons. The ladies wing of this group takes leading role in visiting these homes and arranging medical help, medicines for the inmates.
