Bangalore – March, 2016 – FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp (NYSE: FDX), announced the launch of a new global  advertising campaign to inspire and enable small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to grow their businesses globally and access international markets with FedEx expertise.

Through the campaign, FedEx tells empowering stories that will resonate with more than 420 million SMEs that exist globally.[1]SMEs are a critical part of the world’s economy, accounting for two-third of all jobs worldwide.[2]

At the center of this campaign are three videos showcasing Indian SMEs and capturing their growth journey as they go global.

“InIndia, SMEs account for 40 percent of total employment and 17 percent of the country’s GDP[3],” said Nathalie Amiel-Ferrault, vice president, Customer Experience and Marketing, FedEx Express.  “India SMEs face and overcome challenges in all aspects of their business. FedEx can help and enable them to expand their reach into global markets by providing reliable logistics but also considerable expertise in helping businesses navigate the complexities of global trade.”

These include research on international trade trends among SMEs, insights and commentary on the topic of entrepreneurialism, and useful advice and resources on the FedEx Business Insights Hub.

“The stories featured in the global campaign show us first-hand the passion and determination that drive small business owners every day—from the creative value proposition they’ve built to how they seek to innovate day in and day out,” said Raj Subramaniam, executive vice president, Global Strategy, Marketing and Communications, FedEx Services.“At FedEx our goal is to provide access to our customers globally and inspire them to continue doing what they are doing so well and grow their businesses globally.”
