Mumbai, 28 January, 2016: Aarti Industries Limited (AIL), a leading manufacturer of specialty chemicals, has been bestowed with the much coveted ‘Trishul Award’ by Basic Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals & Cosmetics Export Promotion Council (CHEMEXCIL). The award is in recognition to the company’s outstanding export performance in the year 2014-15.
The council also honours the company, considering consistency in export performance with ‘Award of Excellency’ for the achievement in the year 2013-14.
The award will be presented to Aarti Industries Ltd., at an award ceremony on February 8, 2016 in Mumbai, which will be graced by the august presence of Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, Hon’ble Minister of State for Commerce & lndustry (Independent Charge) as the Chief Guest.
The exports of the company, whose esteemed list of customers embraces some of the leading multinationals and global giants, contributes around 50% of the revenue and comprises of products such as intermediates of polymers, agrochemicals, pigments among others. Total Exports for Company have doubled from Rs. 72,673 Lakhs in 2011-12 to Rs. 1,44, 930 lakh in 2014-15 by expanding product, product range and new markets.
