Core Sector Communiqué
(RNI no. WBENG/2008/25525) is a monthly magazine that seeks to provide a command control view of the economy and its core sectors to discerning readers at the top - captains of the industry, policy framing ministers and bureaucrats, economists, mandarins and analysts. |

We are not available in the news stand and Core Sector Communiqué mailed to a select database of subscribers, movers and shakers including global giants like Arcelor Mittal, Bao Steel, Posco, Mechel, BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto, Siemens, SMS Group, Tata Group, SAIL, Reliance, L&T and a host of others in India and abroad.

Our readership is comprised of achievers in the 40 plus category for whom we also have regular columns on health and fitness (written by one expert medical practitioner on a related area of interest) and lifestyle & gadgets (the latest in cell phones, cameras, laptops and other corporate support systems). We also cover stories from the automobile world and highlight the art of time living.
The Core Sector Communiqué is built around a theme - a cover story that takes a critical look at a particular industry segment / topic around which we weave related stories. Earlier issues have covered areas like Sponge Iron, Coal Criticality, Climate Change, 50 years of SAIL, Steel industry in the context of the Maoist threat, Water Woes, Workplace Romance and the like.
Each issue also has, in its second lead, either a country or a state of India wherein we compile relevant information about the country / state from a socio-economic perspective. In this section, we have already covered Japan, Australia, Gujarat, West Bengal to name a few. We also have regular columns on industry / stock performances, raw information about the core sector indices, carbon credit market rates, global crude steel outputs and other relevant facts and figures. |

We are a group of high network individuals, each having scaled the top of his / her chosen field of excellence, each fueled by an obsessive desire to scale peaks, each nestling a passion, a dream, a hope in the heart ... Of seeing India claim her rightful place. Of a India sans the squalor. Of a India that has won the fight over poverty. Of a India that has banished illiteracy. Of a India unchained, unbound.
We are a group of thinkers. Of dreamers. Of poets. Of Mavericks. And this is our maiden, humble effort.An effort to stand up and be heard. We may fail to change the world. We wont be found trying though. |

A metallurgist from the BHU, is a veteran of 45 years in the Indian steel industry. He has worked in SAIL across 3 of its plants & its corporate office – moving up to be Chief Executive of VISL, Bhadravati, which he is credited of having turned around. He was invited by the Govt of Karnataka to be its Chief Expert for selecting the futuristic COREX technology for the VSNL in the state. He, has been associated with the house of Dempo's in Goa since 1993where he set up AISP in Goa as its MD. He continues to be an independent Director in the company. He is a prolific speaker at international conferences. He has only recently lectured at the famed universities in China.
